Through my writing, research, and strategic program designs, I consider questions of audience and reception, putting art, literature, performance, and protest into context. My professional work includes marketing, editing, publishing, stage management, education and administration roles.
About Me.
I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Stage Management and a B.A in Humanities Honors (Liberal Arts), certificates in Museum Studies and Core Texts & Ideas, and minors in English and Art History.
I cut my teeth in book publishing at the University of Texas Press, then founded independent editing and publicity firm Court Literary to continue refining big ideas and connecting authors and artists to audiences.
I earned a Master's in Information and Library Science at UNC Chapel Hill, and worked to make collections more discoverable at the Library of Congress.
I am an experienced Stage Manager for festivals, theatre, dance, and new work. I have programmed, scheduled, and facilitated concerts, poetry readings, film screenings, dinners and live performances in museum spaces.
